Blog Monitoring II

This is my product so far; I have used photoshop to edit my image, making it a more balanced image in appearance. I have learnt that by using a strobe effect on my title to makes it bold and help it stand off the page, I have done this with a rectangle behind for a sky line offering an exclusive to my audience. I used the ellipse tool with a dashed line to create an interesting point around my offer sell line. My font is consistent through my front cover and double page spread, I am using a strobe effect on my front cover with my sell lines, this is because I am sticking to three colour to increase the professional appearance.

This is my double page spread so far, I need to finish arranging the text in my breakout boxes and I need to fill my other box in the same colour so it becomes separate from the text. I also need to finish rotating and adding drop shadows to my smaller images. I have added a drop cap to the start of my article that guides the eye where to start reading. Using the line tool I have created Japanese dots between my columns, just like I found in the article I used for my analysis.

From my flat plans I wasn't entirely sure I wanted to use that image for my front cover, so when it came to my photo shoot I had to change my approach, I decided to go more in the direction of using similar images to what I would be using in my article. In all my photo shoot went quite well, until it came to the time to do my main image for my article, some of the lighting equipment malfunctioned, this meant it was hard to recreate what I had imagined and to get the lighting right at all. However I think the final result looking over the image afterwards turned out quite well considering the trouble we were having.
